The base body of fixture extends 21/2", but how far out do the light shades extend?

BEST ANSWER: The overall bath light extends 2 1/2 from the wall to the outer shade.
Can this light be hung vertically? If so, are there any draw backs? Will the crystals hang correctly and the light bulb look pleasent?

How long is the backplate?

BEST ANSWER: The backplate is 45 inches long by 5 1/8 high. I love this fixture because it was the only one I could find to cover the open space behind a mirrored wall in my powder room. It looks beautiful. However, it arrived with the backplate dented in two areas. My electrician fixed the lower area dent but it is still dented on the top. No one can see it because it is above people’s eye level.
My bathroom is blue and silver--will this match?

May this light fixture to be mounted on the mirrow? Should I be concern that mirrow will crack from heat?

BEST ANSWER: Sure - I do not see why not. If you are concerned about the heat from the halogen bulbs for this crystal bath light, try using LED bulbs (see prev Q&A dated Apr 25,2018).

Is this light a good selection for applying makeup? I would use the LED lights instead of the halogens. Are LED's dimmable?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Lisa - with a combined 200 watts of light, that should be plenty of light for make-up. If wanting to use LED bulbs, we would recommend bulb Style #33M56 and it is dimmable. I have also added a recommended dimmer below.

Can you switch to Much More Energy Efficient L.E.D. Lights/ Bulbs?

BEST ANSWER: If you can find bulbs that fit, probably yes. I'd ask Lamps Plus to ask the manufacturer, though, as I didn't easily LED's to fit. I I just bought extra halogens and put a dimmer on switch because they are VERY bright. Note: use of dimmers or even touching halogen bulbs will drastically shorten bulb life. By the way, my RE Agent said this fixture will be a really good resale asset. Very glam.

Amazingly Beautiful!!
I waited a while for these big lights...but they completed my new bathroom remodeling. With all the stone tile and hard surfaces in a bathroom, it was important to add some "bling" and "glamour" to that room to compliment it and boy did they ever!! Everyone loves them and ask where I purchased them!!

I would give the Vienna Full Spectrum Cessena 45 inch wide Crystal Bath Light 5 stars.we actually purchased 5 of these lights for our master bath and large hall bath. specialty bulbs hard to get
These specialty bulbs are hard to get and have to be handled carefully - otherwise they burn out after a couple of weeks. They also send up a lot of heat so you have to be careful about mounting far enough from the ceiling. Use caution when ordering. Otherwise it does look nice - it is a pretty light.

Hello - this design does come with halogen bulbs, which should not be touched with your bare fingers as the oils on your hands can cause the bulb to fail. However, you could replace those bulbs with LEDs. If you want to pursue that option contact us and we can suggest some suitable bulbs for you.
