If i want to place on two end tables with sofa in between....will swing arms rotate to allow one facing left and one facing right?

Lamp description says brass, but it looks silver online. What is the actual color?

Nice lamp but the shade...
The lamp is exactly as pictured and seems well made. I was a little disappointed in the shade that came with the lamp because it has polished silver hardware and the lamp I bought is antique brass.
