This black finish outdoor wall light offers an Mission inspired look that is both stylish and eye-catching. The design is crafted from steel, and comes with framed clear glass panels. With a dusk-to-dawn photocell, this light offers security by turning on automatically when the sun sets and off when the sun rises.

This is the ONLY light that appears to be the type we are looking for - a dusk to dawn light that doesn't look like it belongs on a storage unit or boat storage space. Every nice looking light that is dusk to dawn is ALSO MOTION SENSING. Dusk to dawn AND motion sensing both is counter-intuitive. You either have one that stays on from dusk to dawn or you have one that comes on when it senses motion. You CANNOT have both!

BEST ANSWER: No, the light only has “on-off” function according to the dusk-to-dawn sensor. There is no motion sensor on the light.

We are considering going down from the large 20 1/2 " size lamps to these lamps at 15" because we really like the style. My questions are 1)does this style come in a larger size? 2)what is the return policy on these lamps if we find they happens to too small in proportion to the house? I see this light turns on from dusk to dawn automatically, but can it be wired to a switch to be turned on and off manually? thx!

BEST ANSWER: A switch will allow you to turn the light off when the photo sensor is in the "on" condition. (Meaning you can have darkness at night.) . However, a switch will not allow you to turn on the light while the sensor is in the "off" condition. (Meaning you can not have the light glowing during a daylight hour).

BEST ANSWER: Yes, the bottom is open. You can change a bulb just by reaching up from underneath the light bulb, with no need to open or unscrew anything.
Can u use a dimmer switch on this light if it's too bright?

BEST ANSWER: Its not the light fixture that determines if you can put a dimmer on it. What determines whether or not you can put the fixture on a dimmer is the type of bulb you put in the fixture. Incandescent bulb, yes, CFL, no, LED, yes. I put two of these lights on the front of our garage with 40 watt LED's. They are a bit bright, I think 25 watt would be better.

Love the light sensor that automatically turns the lights off when the sun comes up and on when the sun goes down. Great feature!

Beautiful lights
I love these lights. The style works well with my typical 2 story suburban traditional home. The scale is soooo much better than the old dinky builder lights. The install was easy. My neighbors have complimented my lights. The price was right (check for open box deals)! The only thing I can't speak to is how they hold up long term. But so far so good, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Very Smart and Clean looking Lamps
We are very please with these lamps by the way they look and the way they operate. They go on right at dusk and go off at dusk just like described by Lamps Plus. We purchased 5 lamps to replaced the old outdoor lamps after getting the house painted and all cleaned up. We have had compliments from our neighbors on how nice the look.

Fell in love with the fixture instantaneously!
Bought 3 of them for the front of our house and put in LED vintage style warm candle lights. Unfortunately I was not able to capture the warmth sheen of the bulbs in the dark, so you will just have to trust me on this one! The automatic light sensor for night time is a added bonus. I can't stop raving about them!
