BEST ANSWER: Absolutely, a dimmer is optional and you may use your regular on/off wall switch.
Does that mean you never change the bulb, it never burns out?

BEST ANSWER: Hi - the LEDs are built-in (integrated) and non-replaceable at this time. If you should ever need to replace them in the future, please contact our Customer Service Department for assistance. But, they have an approximate life expectancy of 40,000 hours.
Can this be used outdoors for a porch? Would it be bright enough?

This means the light can withstand any water that may drip, splash or flow on or against the electrical components. Over the tub, lighting only needs to be damp-rated to handle the indirect condensation and moisture. Great Looking Fixture
The light was pakaged very poorly. It was rattling around in the shipping box with no padding, which I'm sure caused the acrylic shade on the light to crack completely. Customer Support responded quickly by sending me a replacemnt shade for free. The new shade was packed very well with lots of padding. LampsPlus gets an A-plus from me for great service and a fast, courteous response.

Definitely would buy this product again
We needed a light for our laundry room to replace an old fluorescent light. This light fit the bill perfectly. Husband loves the led lights. Won't need to replace for many, many years. Very modern looking with the brushed nickel. Love!!
