Lamps Plus Open Box is a great place to find one-of-a-kind deals on lighting and home decor. We may have one item or several dozens, so act fast! Quantities are limited and the selection changes daily. Each item is sold on a first come, first served basis.

Open Box FAQs

  1. Where does your merchandise come from?
    We sell items at outlet pricing that may have been returned to our warehouse or items that have an open-box.
  2. Has the merchandise been inspected?
    Yes, we have a team of quality control specialists who visually look at every design for sale on Open Box pages, including those that may have been returned to one of our retail stores or to our central warehouse.
  3. What is the condition of the merchandise?
    All items for sale are examined to make sure they are in good working condition. Boxes may show wear, or merchandise may not be shipped in its original packaging.
  4. Are all the parts included?
    Yes, all parts for each item are included.
  5. Can I return an item?
    Yes you can. You may return any online purchase to us within 60 days of receiving it. See below for our policy.
  6. What is the merchandise availability?
    Quantities of merchandise may be extremely limited. Selection varies.

Pricing and Availability

The following general terms and conditions may apply:

  • Prices are as marked online.
  • Pricing good while supplies last; first come, first served; no rain checks.
  • Pricing not valid on special or previous orders, cannot be combined with other coupons or discounts, and subject to change without notice; see online for current pricing and quantities.
  • Typographic, photographic, pricing, and/or descriptive errors are subject to correction.
  • Lamps Plus Professionals trade discounts not valid on sale and clearance furniture items.

Shipping and Delivery

  • Open Box items can only be delivered to the 48 contiguous states. No deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, or other International locations.
  • We do not ship on major holidays, including Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
  • Open Box orders are not available for store pick-up.

Making a Return

If for any reason you are not satisfied with a purchase, return it within 60 days of receiving it. Absolutely no returns will be accepted after 60 days; please inspect all products upon receipt.

  • To ensure that your return is processed accurately and promptly, please call us first at 877-704-2425 to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number.
  • Returns made without a Return Merchandise Authorization will not be accepted.
  • Write the Return Merchandise Authorization on the pre-printed return address form included with your boxed order.
  • If you do not have your pre-printed form, a customer service associate can provide one for you.
  • Complete the returns form, then pack it with your order and affix the address label to the outside of the box. Send your return via Fed Ex, UPS or USPS and obtain a tracking number.
  • Please note, Open Box items do not qualify for free returns.

Once the product is received at our warehouse in good condition we will issue a refund for the amount of the product and tax to the original method of payment used for the purchase.

Please note:

  • All shipping charges on purchases and returns are non-refundable.
  • All merchandise must be returned in the original packaging.
  • We're sorry, but Lamps Plus Open Box orders cannot be returned to our Lamps Plus store locations. Open Box returns must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and be returned by mail to our warehouse.

Damaged Merchandise

Damaged items may be returned to us, but there may not be another Open Box item to ship to you as a replacement. Each item is sold on a first come, first served basis. We will do our best to find a replacement for damaged items, but locating one is not guaranteed.
