Newsweek Rates Lamps Plus as a Best Online Shop for 2020

Lamps Plus ranked a top online shop in the home decor and textiles shopping category

LOS ANGELES – Nov. 11, 2019 –  Newsweek has named Lamps Plus as a Best Online Shop for 2020 in the Home Decor and Textiles category. Lamps Plus was rated as the sixth best online store in the Home Decor and Textiles category, classified under the Home Living industry. It received a total score of 7.98 out of 10.

 

Newsweek teamed up with Statista, an online survey and data company, to rank the top 1,000 online stores out of the most popular 9,500 in the United States. These online stores came from eight main industries and 39 categories, ranging from jewelry and music equipment to furniture and household appliances. Online shops for digital goods and subscriptions, such as streaming services, were excluded from the rankings.

48 different criteria were used to evaluate the online stores. Forty-one criteria come from objective data measures, taking into account delivery options, payment methods, site loading time, bounce rate, and more. Seven come from subjective customer opinions, taken from an online survey with over 8,000 respondents.

With tens of thousands of e-commerce sites available, the online shopping industry is expected to reach 2 billion customers worldwide and generate $5 trillion by 2021.
