Bathroom Light and Mirror Picture

The bathroom needs plenty of even, shadow-free lighting for shaving, grooming, and applying makeup. In a smaller bath, mirror lights will illuminate the entire room, but in larger spaces an additional ceiling fixture is needed for general lighting.

Placing light fixtures on each side of the above-sink mirror will illuminate both sides of the face evenly.

Fixtures equipped with incandescent or fluorescent bulbs behind glass or plastic diffusers provide very good, flattering light.

You can also mount an additional fixture across the top of the mirror or from the ceiling.

Take a look at the bathroom lighting options included in our Holiday Sale. New lighting fixtures are quick, easy way to update and brighten your guest bath.

To give your bath more personal charm and a warmer look, try adding an iron bathroom fixture. Iron sconces in the bath provide an interesting natural texture that is warm and rustic.

Another big, continuing trend places crystal in the bath for an added sparkle and a pampered spa feel. We have seen contemporary crystal wall fixtures do well, but more traditional mini-pendants can also work for larger spaces.
