Even if you're not planning to throw a major fete this holiday season, it's nice to dress up your bar area and that involves choosing a bar cart style. You could go with a rustic chalet theme, incorporating plaids and antlers, or get seriously sparkly with all your shiny mirrored and gold accessories. Here are two holiday bar schemes for inspiration.
It's true that plaid is making a major showing in the fall/winter fashion scene, but regardless of trends tartan is always in style at Christmas time. Tartan tea towels and cocktail napkins are nice touches too, like this one above from Camille Styles.
While taxidermy and antlers are always welcome like in Erin Hearts Court's image, be sure to dress your head with a garland or wreath. Just that tiny touch says holiday, and smells good too.

It's true that gold tones are huge right now throughout the house (unless you've already moved on to copper) and this is true for bar cart style too! During the holidays, and especially for New Year's, a touch of gilt makes anything festive.
Mirrored chargers and trays, polished chrome or brass cocktail shakers, and of course any and all of your crystal are essential in making your bar shine. These two images from Style Me Pretty and Elle Decor provides lots of glam ideas.
