Pump too noisy
Lovely little fountain, but the pump is way too loud defeating the purpose of the fountain. If I had it to do over, I would purchase a different fountain.

Video Amplified the Sound 10X.
This is an almost noiseless water fountain. I am very disappointed. The pump sounds louder than the water. I am not sure if there is a way to increase the water sound so I hear it above the hum of an appliance. If not I am going to return it.

#zengarden must have!
Definite #zengarden must have! True copper petals compliment the shades of greenish brown in the leaves. The base does sit secure in the receiving bowl after some positioning. Very stable and true to size piece. Just fill to above the base right before the edge of the container as it goes up. That way the water level is enough for the pump to function properly and has a slight pooling effect when looking at it.

Cheap base and does not produce much water sound.
We bought this one for my Mom and Dad and it is cheap. The base is to light and the fountain top leans and there is no water noise. Too slow a stream of water.

Dollar Store special
Honestly, dollar store would have something better looking than this. Two of the so-called petals look more like stars and the other two are in the exact shape of a heart. The copper finish is ugly and looks nothing like copper, and the "slate" bowl just means black. This thing is as cheap looking as it gets. Definitely NOT worth $10.99, much less $49.99.

I would have never bought it if I was able to have it in my hands and look at it first.
Painted with copper paint. Starts to come off after a while. Popclogs up.

Lovely, but noisy pump
The fountain is a nice size and the sound of water is pleasant and relaxing. Unfortunately the noise of the pump all but drowns out the sound of the water. I'm hoping I can find a quieter fountain pump that will solve the problem.

Not what I expected. Had to bend the leaves to get it to flow correctly. Not very much sound from the water flow. Maybe if I add some rocks, it will make more of a sound of flowing water.

Beauty or longevity
I bought this fountain awhile back and have enjoyed it although the water trickle is not audible. Be prepared for the somewhat gaudy copper brightness, I simply used a verdigris acrylic paint and painted the flower pads making it nice and subtle. Now after two years it has a noisy pump that even though thoroughly cleaned, it still has a grinding sound. I will either have to find a tiny replacement pump for it, or through it away.

not like picture
flowers are painted a copper color. flower base did not sit level in the resin bowl so it wobbled back and forth. the pump did not increase or decrease the flow of water as described and you could not hear the soothing effect of the water. sent back for a replacement. still waiting.

Pretty, discrete whisper of water trickling down. Water bubbling down from leaves to leaves has a pearl luminescence quality in the light: very nice agsinst copper

Lovely little fountain
I have this on my kitchen counter, highlighted by a lamp with a copper shade. The fountain is soothing to watch and easy to fill. The water doesn't make much noise, but this was as advertised because the pump is small. Very nice accent piece and a good value!

Very impressed
I must admit - I didn't expect a lot for the price. I think the value proposition here is impressive. When the box arrived, my hopes fell as the weight was practically non-existent. I opened the box to check it and thought: "this is kinda pretty". I purchased it for my office desk, so put it back in the box and brought it in the next day, set it up in a couple of minutes, and immediately received nothing but raves. It's very attractive and could be 5x the price or more and no one knows the difference. The metal "leaves" sway a bit with the vibration of the water falling, and even more with the vibration of the desktop as I type. The "copper" coating has no real patination, it still has some feeling of age to it. The leaves are patinated greenish. I feel it's ideal in an office or home-office setting. It's not distracting, it's a conversation piece, and it definitely has a measure of professional "class" about it. If I had one complaint it's also a positive: there's very little if any sound of water falling. Very subtle. This was an outstanding purchase, and I'd buy it again in an instant! Now I just need a couple of lacy ferns to tuck it in behind... Pros: Real Metal, Attractive Design, Workplace Appropriate, Quiet. Cons: Maybe Too Quiet. Best Uses: Desktop, Office.
