Pantone Honeysuckle Color of the Year

If you love pink, this is your year! The Pantone Color of the Year for 2011 is honeysuckle, a vibrant shade of reddish pink.

Says Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, "Honeysuckle is a captivating, stimulating color that gets the adrenaline going – perfect to ward off the blues...”

For those of you scoring at home, the official Pantone honeysuckle color code is 18-2120 TCX or 18-2120 TPX. RGB colors are 203 (R), 101 (G), and 134 (B). For more info, see the official Pantone 2011 Color of the Year page.

Here are three products that offer a great match for the color, and give you the opportunity to decorate with the color of the year!

Pantone Color of the Year 2011 Table Lamp

For starters, I used our Design Your Own online tool to create a honeysuckle table lamp shade. You can do this for any of our Design Your Own products; just use the "Advanced" color tool and input the RGB color values. You can match the color exactly, or tweak the color values to make whatever color variant you'd like.

Honeysuckle Pink Orchid Faux Flowers

Next, here's a beautiful faux orchid floral arrangement. The pink of the flowers makes a vibrant display set against the greenery and the mocha pot.

Honeysuckle Pink Pillow

Finally, accent a chair or sofa with this honeysuckle accent pillow. The color tone here is a little hotter than the Pantone color, but it's a very close match, I think.
