Nico, the German singer, songwriter, musician and model inspired many, including some the 1980s most prolific alternative music artists. Today, she is a source of inspiration for the designers at Varaluz. Known as the original goth, she fought convention in creating her music and performances, much the same way Varaluz approaches lighting design. Our Nico fixtures capture the spirit of more traditional (bird) cage fixtures but with a dose of infinity looping. Its goth by way of glam, finished in black with gold accents on the lighting and suspended by chain and a single removable stem.Â
