Hi, the statue is beautiful. Can i leave it out in the winter, i live in Canada, winter here can get very cold, will it break if we leave it out in the winter?

BEST ANSWER: If you live in an area where there are freezing temperatures, it is recommended to fully drain your fountain and move the fountain into your garage or under a sheltered area covered. If the fountain is too heavy to move, still drain the fountain fully and keep covered. I have added a helpful link below with several tips for winterizing your fountain.

BEST ANSWER: The manufacturer does not recommend using extension cords with their fountains. But, it you still plan on using one, only use a UL-approved 12 gauge extension cord rated for outdoors plugged in to a GFCI outlet.

BEST ANSWER: Hi Heather - the LEDs are built-in (integrated) and still non-replaceable at this time. But, they have an approximate life expectancy of 25,000 hours.
Can I use the fountain, without the power cord? I mean it might be like stagnant water... My garden does have low voltage line, but not the regular power outlet.

BEST ANSWER: Hi - the image looks like what you get in the box. It weighs 25 lbs. It is made for outdoor use, though we suggest bringing it inside during winter snow months.

Fabulous Fountain!
I looked for quite some time for just the right Buddha fountain for my patio. I found it here, on sale, for $50 less than other suppliers. I received it within only a few days of my order and it was well packaged. The instructions are clear and there are only a few parts to combine. The weight is heavy enough to be stable but not too heavy to handle easily (66 year old woman.) I was able to unpack, set up and have this fountain bubbling away within 20 minutes. It has a pleasant sound and it looks far more expensive than it was. I placed it on a small Asian carved table, added river rocks at the base of the Buddha and tucked plants around the base of the table. It makes a serene and inviting addition to my patio, within easy sight and sound of the dining and sitting areas. I could not be more pleased and feel it is worth the full price, and more. At night, the LED light in the lotus looks like a bubbling flame. Very attractive!

perfectly perfect!
Met every expectation and then some.... This was easy to assemble, came packaged well and arrived quickly. The fountain is lovely. Both the sound and light are completely soothing. I had purchased with the intention of placing outside on the lanai...but I loved it so much that I moved it inside where I could enjoy all the time.

I purchased this for my office and at first was shocked by the size of the box (I did not think it would "fit" in my office). I unpacked it and easily put it together and it was the perfect size. It is soothing and sets the right ambiance.

Good appearance, poor internals and taking care of the customer
As seen by other reviews, the statue is well done in appearance but the LED / lighting is often faulty.

Like others, my LED/light stopped working after 7 months (still under warranty). After speaking with customer service (who was polite and apologetic but failed to resolve the issue) and told that no replacement part or procedure is available, I was given the following options:
1. Take a discount and live with a non-working light (which is integral to the piece) OR
2. Remove the statue from its position and wiring, package it up entirely and return ship at my cost, and they would send a new one/replacement.

I suggested that they could simply take the new part from the new one they would ship and send it and I would return the non-working part the same way (saving us both money)...this was not an option per LAMPS PLUS.

LESSON: for future buyers, this LED system may be faulty or have a faulty run and you will not be able to get it fixed (even while under warranty) without significant additional cost. I have been a LAMPS PLUS customer for many years and this is a new trend (failure to resolve issues with their offerings while under warranty) ...will need to take this into consideration for the future possibly looking to other vendors.

Very difficult to seat the pump as the surface isn’t flat, and even more difficult to seat the Buddha on the base so that it fits securely. Looks nice though.
