Easy as pie
It was very easy to put together. It is easy to operate as there is a foot dimmer switch that adjusts the lighting in the room. I returned to the store and bought another one. It is perfect in my living room.

Great finish. Easy bulb replacement. Very, very stable. On/off switch a little inconvenient, but not bad. Easy assembly, but lots of packing material to get rid of.

Looks great. Love this lamp. For me, it might have been nice to have a regular switch on the pole or lamp. It has a foot pedal to turn it on.

Beautiful floor lamp
I bought two of these lamps to put in corners of the bedroom. These lamps are beautiful and well made, sturdy, with a good base, I don't feel it will tip over or be unstable. The dimmers are nice, but we have it plugged in so the wall switch turns them on and off. With the bulbs they recommend, it puts out a beautiful bright light.

Nice floor lamp for the price
Nice lamp for the price. Only negative is that the shade is plastic, but the rest of the lamp is solid and heavy. Plenty of light with the dimmable 150 watt bulb.

Highly recommend this beautiful lamp. Very easy to assemble, gives off very nice lighting, no glaring light as the floor lamp purchased earlier and had to return. Love the dimmer switch you can use with your foot. The Metro Brushed Nickel stand Is sturdy and looks good too. Love this lamp!

Dimmer doesn't work
The main reason I bought this lamp was because of the dimmer which does not work. It only goes from completely dark to completely on. If I would have known this I would have gotten the cheaper lamp without a dimmer.

Great lamp but
This lamp is elegant and perfect for a dark corner of my jewelry studio. I particularly like the dimmer feature. This is the third time I have ordered this lamp. I would give it 5 stars except for one problem. The only way to turn it on and off is with the dimmer. For some inexplicable reason after 3 years the dimmer simply stopped working. So the only way to turn the lamp on and off is to literally plug and unplug it. I live in NYC and the cost of replacing the dimmer would be more than just buying a new lamp which I have just done.

The lamp is fine, the white part at the top is cheesy
The lamp itself feels substantial and looks fine. I know it is an inexpensive lamp [...] but...
The white 'acrylic' at the top is really cheap looking and doesn't even fit right to sit straight on the tiny prongs. It isn't attached in any way and wobbles. I can make it better but if it weren't so much trouble I'd send it back.

Does what its supposed to do
This lamp looks very nice. Easy to assemble. Only thing I did not like was the dimmer is on the cord. I prefer the switch to be on the body of the pole.
