Outdoor Fire Pits

The magical glow of fire under the night sky was once an experience reserved for summer camp trips. Now you can enjoy it from the comfort of your own property with our selection of portable outdoor fire pits. Designed to be used safely in backyards and open patio spaces, our fire pits range from propane fueled designs to rustic wood burning models. Square and rectangular designs are available, and bowl fire pits and round metal fire pits are also popular looks.

What is the advantage of a portable fire pit?

Our portable fire pits can be moved as needed, so you can change the position of them in your yard or patio as desired. Unlike larger set fire pits, many of our designs can even be transported and taken with you, making them ideal for camping.

Can a fire pit be used on a wooden deck?

No, we do not recommend using a fit pit on any wooden deck or wooden structure. A bowl fire pit can get hot and should only be used on a concrete patio slab or in a yard setting, with earth or sand recommended below the pit.

How far from a house should a fire pit be?

Experts recommend at least a 15 to 20 foot distance, or even more depending on the size of your fire pit. Make sure you locate the design away from any overhanging parts of your home, overhead tree branches, wooden decks and so on. Some municipalities may have specific rules governing firepits, so it's a good idea to check your local fire codes.

Can a fire pit be used in winter?

Yes, fire pits can be used in winter. They are great for gathering around after sledding or other outdoor activities, as they offer a festive glow and a wonderful meeting spot for your family and friends.

Fire pits are a wonderful accent for your outdoor spaces. Use them with outdoor string lights and party lights, and outdoor furniture to create a warm and cozy seating area. If you need help in choosing a design, contact our fire fit experts for assistance.
