can these be used as kitchen island pendant lights?

BEST ANSWER: Sure - I do not see why not. There are various general guidelines on sizing pendants over an island. Depending on your islands size, generally small islands (4-5 feet long) can handle 1 or 2 pendants (1 med-large pendant or 2 med-small pendants). Longer size islands can handle 2 or 3 pendants.
