It works, but....
InitiallyI was pleased that it didn't seem to splash; set up was easy. I have it outside in the entry way undercover and on a granite table. It really suits my decor but while I can't really see the splashing, we live in the high desert and the water splashes dissipate into a mist. It won't hurt the table, however I would not use it inside. I put some small potted plants in from of it and they love the misting. I have only had it operating a couple of weeks and the "paint" or "plastic liner" on the bottom cup is peeling off. That to me is unacceptable and cannot be good for the pump or tubing. I will put some decorative pebbles in it to hide the discoloration, but I cannot recommend it to anyone else.

This fountain is NOT recommended for Indoor use.
The product description states, “Table top”. This was ordered as a Christmas present to be placed on a desk. When you open the box, the Helpful Comments state, “We recommend this unit for outdoor use. This fountain is designed for outdoor use. ... [regarding indoor use] Therefore, care should be taken to use only in areas where water will not cause damage to hardwood floors, carpet .....not be used in areas of frequent foot traffic, as moisture will cause slippery floor surfaces.” Now I need to proceed through the hassle of returning this fountain, need to find a shipping container, etc.

I read all the reviews before buying this fountain. Some people fixed any problem they had and were very happy with their purchase.
I absolutely love this fountain and did not have any problems. It is just what I wanted. I would definitely recommend this fountain.

Love it. Have been happy with all of my purchases from Lamps Plus and this didn't disappoint me.
This is so beautiful. Unique. I have not used it as intended yet. I have placed a 4 inch air fern in it and it looks absolutely beautiful.

A must have patio fountain
I am so happy with this fountain. I have it on my outdoor patio. It is so effective and is enjoyed by visitors and friends. Although I have had other fountains for my outdoor garden this table top jug is the best in appearance and performance.I love it and would recommend it for and outdoor patio. The sound of falling water is so relaxing.

Nice size, great water sound...very happy with my purchase.
This fountain gives all the water sound you I need in my home. You can hear the water while watching a game. I have it sitting on a table in a corner. It is the exact sound I wanted.

Not only beautiful, but makes beautiful water noises!
We just love this fountain. We bought it for our lanai, which is enclosed by sliders. From the beginning, there was no splashing or problems of any kind. Set it up, put in pump, added water and plugged it in. It's now controlled by a Smart Plug and on a timer. It's also Alexa compatible, so our guests can open their sliding glass doors and hear the fountain at night if they wish, just by asking Alexa.

Great fountain
Love sound of this simple fountain. The pump tubing is very flimsy, rubbery. Pump really too strong for small fountain. Made of weird plastic material btw.

best christmas gift!
Gift for my grandparents... hook it up in a matter of seconds... work great and it has a relaxing flow and sound, they love it. We put it on the front porch where they have a couple of chairs and like to spend some time everyday.

Prominent Centerpiece fountain
Stands tall and very sturdy. I'm pleased that there is very little splash over. My only wish is that there was a built in LED light to enhance the fountain at night. Aside from that, I'm pleased with my purchase.

Holds enough water that I only have to fill it up every couple days and I live in Fla where it's hot.Looks very nice in my. Flowers on their shelf and helps supply moisture to my orchids

Really raises the bar!
I'm terrible about returning after a purchase to review it, but reading thru the reviews that have been added since I bought mine I thought I owed it to the fountain and to Lamps Plus to take the time. I had a small amount to invest in a BIG job of pulling my house together after a move and long illness. I have a number of small table-top fountains, but REALLY wanted one with a larger 'presence' which I could use as a focal point in our living room. I just wasn't finding what I wanted that fit my budget. Following a link from another site brought me here to Lamps Plus, and I decided to at least LOOK.
At first I thought this site would be too rich for my blood, then I found table top fountains I'd seen at my usual haunts that were cheaper HERE! So I got out my tape measure and started reading. After days of mulling I ordered this and two smaller units!
I almost gave up on one little copper and lillypads one for splashing, followed a bunch of suggestions I'd read, but it seemed determined to splash. I left it running till the next day when I was ready to pack it up again to return it. I discovered it gently obeying it's designed path without a drop on the table around it! It taught me something abt fountains, if they ARE splashing out and you've taken measures to correct it, and still are getting some errant drops, leave it be for a day or so. Cuz as it settles down, and begins to take the path of least resistance the rest dries up and the water has to 'work' to leave it's bed and splash. If it's still splashing, but you like it, make another adjustment and wait again. I've never had to return a fountain. It just takes some fiddling and time to settle in.
Now THIS particular fountain has set an almost impossible to top standard for me! I have one more critical place for another unit and "my" fountain goes on sale! So I'm back REALLY tempted to pick up a duplicate! Even tho my room is just around the corner! THIS time around I have reviews to read too and found myself a little sad that so many people had issues they hadn't fixed limiting their enjoyment, so I'm writing.
Mine sort of misted out around it, not exactly splashing, but still. First I tried adjusting the flow but that did nothing... So I wedged a bit of cardboard under the front edge, placed a towel around it and left it for a while to see what happened. That was all it needed!
I have mine set up on a low table next to a ficus tree in a corner. I draped the table with a very neutral throw, and the look that this simple arraignment gives is that of water jugs set up on a wall in Tuscany! :-) It transformed the living room into the kind of place people come to unwind and be together, or alone to read. I don't have a tv in the living room, so it used to be little more than a space to pass thru to get elsewhere! No longer! :-)
This fountain is actually pretty big, too big for most tables, tho small enough to fit in many places, with enough lively water sound to rival many larger, more costly units.
And gorgeous! Elegant yet earthy, calming but cheery...I couldn't be happier with it!
But be ready for some real water sounds! MAYBE at it's lowest setting with pebbles in the levels, you could quiet it down...as for me? Personally it's the sound, mostly, that I buy fountains FOR! And you get a BIG, "babbling brook" bang for your buck with this fountain! :-)
Lamps Plus staff and policies have been wonderful too! All in all a great experience!

Love this fountain!
This fountain is a beautiful piece in my office. I have it on a stand of it's own right next to a large plant...that way the plant can enjoy some of the splashing. I love the design (it's so earthy!) and get many compliments on it.

Love it!
I like the relaxing sound of fountains and have them several place in and outside my home. There really isn't a place that one does not fit - just find the right size. Try one somewhere you will love it!
