Nice lampshade. Goes nicely with the lamps as well as the room.
This shade is very nice. The lining allows the light to be diffused. My lamps came with white shades ordered the black shades in order to change them on occasion.

Just as expected
Great quality and perfectly accurate size. The shade is translucent--not a solid black--and gives off a nice, warm glow. What's particularly nice is the structure of the ring to which the finial attaches. The ring is not horizontally flat; rather it's cup shaped that allows the narrow shade to sit 3" higher, above the bulb which makes access to the on/off switch under the narrow shade much easier, and looks much better.

Nice Linen Shade
This is a nice linen shade. It's well-made and a great value. The light it gives off is rather cool, so I may paint the inside of the shade gold to give a warmer light.

shades look beautiful
I ordered these sades for some vintage lamps and they look amazing! quite dramatic. The only critique I would have is that I wish they were a little more opaque when the light is on. I only can put 20 watt bulbs in them.

Awesome but falling apart :(
I really wish I could give this awesome shade 5 stars but I can't because it is coming apart. I ordered two and they came very quickly. They were not very expensive and now I guess I know why. They are perfect in our dining room - just what I was looking for - modern luxury. However, the seam on the back of each one is coming undone! I'm going to try to fix them myself with E6000 glue. I hope I don't mess them up. They really are beautiful just not durable :( I would recommend these but with a warning that you might need to do some gluing!

Stylish "updates"
I had a pair of large brass lamps from the 70's. These classic shades used in a smaller, less- traditional size updated the lamps beautifully and scaled the size of the lamps down to fit what I needed.

Looks great on buffet lamp.
Replaced flared shades which detracted from three-dimensional wall art. Black color of the shades enhance the art and credenza upon which the lamps are.

Quality lamp for the budget-conscious
We are using this lamp shade on a lamp in my son's smaller room. Since the shade is black in color, it is darker, but it works great in my son's room for a light source that isn't so bright, like in the evenings.

Elegant and contemporary look
I bought two of these shades to use with two older lamp bases I had for my living room. These shades provide a beautiful, timeless, yet contemporary look which has really brought out the beauty of a couple older lamp bases....they now have an entirely new look! The cylinder shades cast a lovely light onto our architectural detail in the room. Very happy with this purchase!
