For over 50 years, Stiffel lighting has been prized for their high quality and sophisticated profiles.The history of the brand dates back to its founding by Ted Stiffel, a craftsman with a background in fine arts, in Chicago in 1932, and was focused for decades on lamps and portable lighting, particular brass lamp designs. Stiffel's contributions to the lamp industry include the invention of the Stiffel Switch, the pole lamp and various achievements in lamp design. They are currently based in Linden, N.J. Lamps Plus has an exclusive agreement to design and sell lighting fixtures for Stiffel. The new Stiffel lighting fixture collection, featuring chandeliers, ceiling lights, pendants and wall lights, is now available online and at Lamps Plus stores.
