I purchased 3 of this fan and had my electrician guy install it and now it makes loud noise when turned on, especially when i increase the speed to medium and max. Is this normal or is mine all defected?? when the speed is at max, i could see it wobbly and makes loud cling noise as well as click noise

BEST ANSWER: It sounds like one of the blades has become loose causing the fan to wobble. Please contact our technical support at (877)704-2425 Monday-Sunday from 8am-4:30pm PST. They can trouble shoot the ceiling fan with you and find the cause of the problem.

Minka Fan
This fan is the perfect blend of contemporary and functional. It is beautiful and practical in our contemporary home.

Pros: Circulates Air Well, Quiet

Best Uses: Decorative, Larger Rooms, Alternative to AC

Beautiful and classy
This fan is contemporary in style but could fit with almost any decor. We had an electrician hang the fan for us as we are not do-it-yourselfers. This fan is totally quiet, moves air very well, and is sleek in design plus the remote that comes with the fan is easy to use. We're 100% pleased with this fan, and we'll buy several more in the future for the other bedrooms.

Pros: Quiet, Circulates Air Well, Attractive, Range of Speeds, Works in Both Directions

Best Uses: Larger Rooms, Decorative, Air Circulation, Alternative to AC

I had two of these fans installed with my new home. They are noisy. The remote whines. The worst part is that I've electricians over 5 times. The electrician called the company with me there and supposedly even replaced it and it's so annoying, we can't even use it. This has been a 4 year nightmare. I did replace one of them with a Monte Carlo brand which is perfect quiet without a remote. I've determined it's the remote. I asked if the remote could be removed and was told no. I'm upset with the lighting company I bought it from and Minka Aire.
