We have 16 foot ceiling. We would like a larger drop than what the provided 4.5" down rod will provide. I do not see order options. Are there additional optiona for the down rod; 2', 3', 4'?

We've purchased a 60" Modern Forms Woody Bronze LED Outdoor Ceiling Fan (58V47). We need to know how many amps this fan will pull. We're concerned about the 20 amp circuit it's going to be on. How Many amps will this fan pull?
Sherwood G on Nov 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The ceiling fan requires a grounded electrical supply line of 120 volts AC, 60 Hz and a minimum 15 amp circuit.
Hello, does this fan come with a normal remote control or is it just the high tech one? Thanks

glitchy light
So I wrote a honest review on Modern Form Fans about the light but it was removed. First, bought the light when it was 600...amazing it went up 100 bucks in just a few weeks. Let's get this out of the way, all grounds are grounded and wires appropriately connected. When you turn the light off the LEDs flicker while dimming and turning off. Ok, so maybe that's not too bad however, when you have the fan at full power the LEDs flicker, no kidding 700+ and the lights flicker like a cheap motel light. I'm working with Modern Form fans to resolve the issue. imo the issue is the AC/DC converter or the LED electronics itself. Lastly, the cool metal tips on the fan blades has a seam; the transition to the wood blade. that small gap causes lots of drag on the fan blade which is evident it a slight whistling noise. for the price anything besides perfection is unacceptable. I'll give 3 stars because it looks cool and I can still use it on 5 of the 6 settings.

Wonderful fan, except app
I love the fan as does my wife. I specifically got this as a smart fan. I bought three fans, all smart. I followed the directions. One of the three synced. The other two not yet. Waiting to reach the company chat line, but they are only open day time. Will keep trying, unless someone has a better solution. Yes, I followed the directions closely.

Disappointed with the amount of airflow
I bought two of these 60 inch fans to replace two 52 inch fans on my lanai. It gets really hot in Florida and I was looking for fans that would move a lot of air. These were very expensive but I picked them since they had 6 speeds and the airflow number was 7500 which is higher than most other fans. The fans look great but I am very disappointed in the amount of airflow. Speed 1 is barely moving and speed 6 is not that impressive. The breeze they generate is no greater that the cheap fans I replaced. I am going to order longer downloads hoping that that helps the airflow situation. Again, the fans look very nice but if you are looking for significant airflow find another alternative.

Of the two fans I have only been able to get one to sync with my phone.

Response from Lamps Plus
Hi - we will have our fan tech team contact you about the airflow and phone sync issues you are having. This design does have a fairly high airflow rating, so it may be that you need an additional downrod to bring the fan closer to the floor so you can better feel the air. Thank you for the comments.
