Constructed from metal, each lamp comes in a dark black-bronze finish, with brushed nickel finish accents that provide a fine contrast, and is topped by a drum shade with a Swell giclee-printed pattern. Each lamp takes two light bulbs, each operated by a pull chain switch, and has a USB port built into the base, designed to charge smartphones and other devices. Shade printing process U.S. Patent # 7,347,593. Note that the shades have a printed pattern and do not use real woven material.
