is the glass pearlescent?

BEST ANSWER: Hello - the manufacturer calls this opal glass, which is usually opaque, white or frosted. We would not say this design is pearlescent, although it may have a similar look when illuminated.
What kind of lightbulbs does this use?

BEST ANSWER: It takes four standard medium based bulbs. Each socket is rated for a maximum of 100 watts.

Good that there are matching (though different size) lamps for the bathroom.
